The National Police have arrested a man in Ciudad Real for forcing his wife to practice prostitution in different hostess clubs in various provinces.
The investigation began upon learning of the criminal activities carried out by a Spanish citizen who, based on his affective relationship with his partner and using deception, forced his wife to practice prostitution for several years in different clubs. hostess from the provinces of Ciudad Real, Córdoba and Madrid, keeping the detainee with all the money obtained by the victim with this activity, amounting to about 100,000 euros.
Faced with the victim's refusal and resistance, the husband did not hesitate to use physical violence and even threatened to decapitate her, so that she would continue working as prostitutes for him, having to perform up to ten sexual services a day to satisfy the economic demands that her husband imposed on her, the National Police reported in a statement.
Once the author was arrested, the victim was referred by the National Police to an NGO specialized in caring for women who have experienced situations of sexual exploitation, where she has received psychological and social assistance.
This operation is part of the National Police Plan against Trafficking in Human Beings for the Purpose of Sexual Exploitation.
