Company. Family complaints about abuse targeting nursing homes in Korian after Orpea

A new collective action is being launched against a large retirement home. According to lawyer Sarah Saldmann, thirty complaints have been filed against the Korian group of nursing homes. She also confirmed information from Parisian. 18 residents have filed complaints against X for "endangering another's life", "non-assistance given to a person in peril" and "manslaughter".

They were filed in Aix-en-Provence.

Korian quickly reacted, saying in a release that Korian had "at no point taken action to formalize complaints of her clients" and assert their rights. The group says it has no knowledge of the contents of these complaints, and cannot comment. However, Korian recalls that all serious situations brought to their (its) attention are addressed and systematically reported to the authorities.

Me Sarah Saldmann was at the root of almost 80 complaints against Orpea in Nanterre for similar facts in April, following the scandal that arose from the book-investigation Les Fossoyeurs, by Victor Castanet. She said that most of these procedures, except those concerning the Clinea subsidiary's clinics, have been "investigated".

The lawyer stated that she received 40 reports for the Korian group in February.
