The Plenary of the Constitutional Court has endorsed this Wednesday the Euthanasia Law. The court of guarantees by a large majority -9 votes in favor- has rejected the appeal filed by Vox against Organic Law 3/2021, of March 24, on the Regulation of Euthanasia.

The sentence of the progressive magistrate Ramón Sáez has had only two votes against the magistrates Concepción Espejel and Enrique Arnaldo, according to legal sources to EL MUNDO.

Sáez's presentation, on which the magistrate will make some modifications after submitting it for a day and a half to deliberation by the Plenary, maintains that the current Euthanasia Law guarantees the right to self-determination of the person without leaving life unprotected.
