"Creed" star receives star: Michael B. Jordan immortalized on Walk of Fame

A star on the Walk of Fame is the accolade from Hollywood. Actor Michael B. Jordan is the 2751st person to receive this honor. Two of his friends make emotional speeches about the "Creed" and "Just Mercy" actor.

US actor Michael B. Jordan has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Wearing a cobalt blue suit, the 36-year-old revealed his plaque. As the movie star prepared to receive one of the top honors in entertainment, he beamed with pride while his friends, actor Jonathan Majors and director-writer Ryan Coogler, gave heartfelt speeches praising his career.

Coogler recalled her first encounter with Jordan at a Starbucks near Universal Studios. Speaking about working on Black Panther together, he said his late pal Chadwick Boseman was probably looking at them right now and smiling.

Majors was next on the podium. Among other things, he said, according to "NBC News": "I am very honored to call you my friend ... no man on this planet deserves that more ... I love you to the moon and back." Jordan can currently be seen in the movie "Creeds III" in cinemas. He also caused a sensation in 2020 with his role as attorney Brian Stevenson in the legal drama Just Mercy, in which he starred opposite Jamie Foxx.

Jordan is the 2751st person to receive a star on the Walk of Fame. A day earlier, actress Courteney Cox had received the 2750th plaque - it was celebrated on site by her former "Friends" colleagues.
