After the killing of a nine-year-old girl in England, the police are looking for a suspect with photos. Authorities released surveillance camera footage showing a man on Saturday.
Chief Superintendent Martyn Parker of the police in the east English county of Lincolnshire asked the population for information. "Our officers are working around the clock on this case and public help could be crucial," Parker said. Anyone who sees the man should inform the police immediately. Two people arrested in connection with the case have since been released.
The girl was stabbed early Thursday evening on a quiet street in downtown Boston. As the Times newspaper reported on Saturday, the child was playing with his younger sister when he was attacked. The mother saw the act from a café, the newspaper "The Sun" reported. As the paper wrote, a possible motive is that the alleged perpetrator demanded money for factory work from the mother, who was the head of a personnel agency. The case sparked national outrage, with Home Secretary Priti Patel expressing shock.
