Will the Tour de France visit the Champs-Elysees by 2024? According to the Gazzetta diello sport, the Big Loop could conclude in Nice. Why? The close proximity to the 2024 Olympic Games which will begin on July 26th, just five days after final arrival.

According to the Italian daily, the 111th issue could still start in Italy to commemorate the 100th anniversary Ottavio Bottecchia's victory. He was the first Transalpine to be included on the list. This would be historic first.

The Tour de France could continue after Copenhagen and Bilbao this summer. A third major departure abroad, in Florence, is possible on June 29, 2024.

It should host four stages in Italy that pay tribute to Marco Pantani: Florence, Cesenatico–Bologna and Modena–Plaisance, before returning to France.
