Cycling. Tour de Suisse: When Alberto Bettiol thinks that he has won stage 2, when in fact he is actually second!

It was a very unusual scene at the Tour de Suisse on Monday. Norway's Andreas Leknessund (Team DSM), won the second stage of Aesch, but the peloton sprint was won by Alberto Bettiol...who exploded with joy at crossing the finish line, believing he had won.

Leknessund was ahead of the Italian trainee from EF Education EasyPost Training. "The sprint was very fast, and we thought that we were fighting for victory. He laughed. He was accompanied by Matteo Trentin (fifth) after the sprint.

At the end of this stage, the Briton Stephen Williams (Bahrain-Victorious), winner the day before, is still the leader ahead of the German Maximilian Schachmann (Bora-Hansgrohe).
