After the accidental death of actress Anne Heche, stars on social media say goodbye to the Hollywood star. Her ex-girlfriend Ellen DeGeneres spoke up on Twitter. The host wrote: "This is a sad day. Sending all my love to Anne's children, family and friends." For three years, from 1997 to 2000, DeGeneres was Anne Heche's partner.

Anne Heche had two sons from two different fathers. The father of her older son, 20-year-old Homer, cinematographer Coley Laffoon, shared a video message on Instagram on Friday: "I would like to believe that Anne is free, free from pain." He also thanked everyone who thinks of him and his family. He emphasized that he always loved Heche and will miss her. Actor James Tupper, with whom Anne Heche has 13-year-old son Atlas, shared a photo of the actress on Instagram. "Love you forever," he wrote.

Homer Laffoon also told People magazine: "My brother Atlas and I have lost our mother. After six days of incredible emotional upheaval I am left with a deep, indescribable grief. Hopefully my mother is pain free and starting to explore what I like to imagine as their eternal freedom. During these six days, thousands of friends, family and fans revealed their hearts to me. I am grateful for their love, just as I am grateful for the support of my father Coley and stepmother Alexi, who continue to be my rock at this time."

Designer Nancy Davis, a close friend of the actress, shared a snap with Heche on Instagram. "Heaven has a new angel. My loving, warm, funny, lovable and beautiful friend Anne Heche has ascended to heaven. I will miss her terribly and cherish all the beautiful moments we shared," wrote the jewelry company founder in her post.

Orange is the New Black actress Taryn Manning also shared a post on Instagram: "Anne, we've only just met but I know that you were loved by our mutual friends and management. And that's why I have you loved and saw all the magic in you."

Professional dancer Keo Motsepe danced with Anne Heche on "Dancing With The Stars". He shared fun photos showing him with the actress. "I love you, Anne Heche," he commented on his post. Carrie Ann Inaba, who is a judge on Dancing With The Stars, also paid tribute to Heche with an Instagram post: "I've been thinking of her since the accident last week and like many of you my heart is heavy. Anne was one of the stars on 'Dancing With The Stars' who touched my heart. Her personal story reached and pressed my heart. I could feel the pain she was feeling. And I could feel her resilient and brave soul. It was touching ."
