The Vercheny man of 50 years, who was seriously injured in a work accident, has died.
A 50-year old man from Die was finishing his afternoon at Vercheny (Diois), working on an automated bottling machine when a part of metal fell on his back, causing cardio-respiratory arrest.
Initially stabilized and taken care of by firefighters, the man succumbed to his injuries at Valence hospital center.
The gendarmerie conducts an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident at work.
