Friday, June 10, 2010, at 10:07 am, a man was struck by a freight train at Pierrelatte station's platform.
It could be suicide.
The victim, a 25 year-old male, survived. He was slightly injured on one leg and received treatment on the spot before being taken to hospital.
Between Valence and Avignon, rail traffic was disrupted until 11:38 a.m. A colleague replaced the driver of the train that struck the victim.
