Hauts de France pays 40% of the costs of converting petrol cars into E85 bioethanol. This is up to 400 euros, plus tax. This aid is given on a need-based basis. The Department of the Somme decided to add 20% of the installation cost, subject to a limit of EUR150.

The kit can be funded up to 50% with regional and departmental aid. This system is also completed by Oise and Aisne departments. These provisions can be used to cover 60-80% of the cost for purchasing and installing an E85 container.

Since its inception, the region has supported the sector with "1,000 boxes at EUR1" and "5,000 boxes supported up until EUR500" operations. Regional aid is currently limited to EUR550. From July 16, it will increase to EUR250, with a cap of 5,000 boxes.

The system will be available until 10,000 vehicles are converted.

The Nice Cote d'Azur Metropolis provides a subsidy equal to 50% of supply and installation costs. Its maximum amount is EUR300

Some municipalities, such as Coeur de Lozere (Occitanie Regional), La Tour du Pin, Mormant, Grigny and Grigny, in Isere or Libourne, New Aquitaine, offer their own assistance.

Individuals are eligible for a fixed financial assistance of EUR500 from Ile-de-France. Half of the cost of the box is covered by Dammarie-les-Lys or Montereau in Seine-et-Marne.

All aids come with conditions. The vast majority of cases will require you to reside in the area, municipality, or department concerned.
