The Letras del Tesoro Público have become the new refuge for small and medium-sized investors in Spain. A savings product that seemed to be forgotten by many, but which is once again in high demand due to the rise in interest rates and the still low remuneration for savings in banks.

This week, specifically on Tuesday, March 7, the Treasury Bills experienced a new high point by exceeding the 3% level in interest for 6 and 12-month products from the public entity, a performance that had not been reached since July 2012. On this occasion, the auction placed 4,938.49 million euros for a demand of 8,695 million euros.
