Emmerdale lovers have been in hysterics on Friday evening as they tuned into the most recent installment of the ITV soapopera.
But as she returned reunited with her kid, she insisted she had been back to assist Gabby amid her pregnancy.
On Friday, she ended up bumping to her ex Liam and his new fiancée Leyla - however once they announced their participation, Bernice didn't just seem shocked.
As they had lunch, Gabby put two and two together and realised that her mother must have known about the information and that is the sole reason she'd returned.
Absolutely fuming, Gabby stormed from the bar while Bernice played dumb.
However, Emmerdale audiences were concerned with her appearance - instead of why she'd returned into the Dales.
Many were baffled as to why Bernice was pale, despite having dwelt Down Under well over a year.
"Bernice doesnt have a lot of tan believing she was in sexy Australia #emmerdale," one person tweeted.
