"Enjoyed every moment": Charlène celebrates with daughter Gabriella

Charlene from Monaco has been on the mend for a few weeks after a long illness. Now she is presenting the annual Fashion Week in her home country and is showing herself there with her daughter Gabriella. It is the first official event for the seven-year-old.

Charlène of Monaco posted a sweet photo with her twin daughter Gabriella on her public Instagram account. "I enjoyed every moment preparing my princess for her first official event. We are looking forward to a great evening at the Fashion Awards," wrote the 44-year-old along with the picture of her holding her daughter in her arms. Both are sitting on a stool in front of a mirror. The seven-year-old wears an elegant robe embroidered with blue and pink flowers. Princess Charlène, on the other hand, appears in a champagne-colored dress with see-through sleeves.

The Monte-Carlo Fashion Week, of which Charlène is the patron, has been held in Monaco since 2013. It started last Monday and will continue until next Friday. The highlight of the week is the presentation of the MCFW Fashion Awards, which took place on Tuesday evening at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, Monaco's opera house.

Princess Charlène was in South Africa for months due to health problems and was only able to travel back to Monaco in November last year. She then went to a clinic, and in mid-March this year the palace said that Charlene was back in Monaco. At the beginning of May, she made her first official appearance since her stay in the hospital and attended the Formula E World Championship in Monaco with her family.

Monegasque Prince Albert II and Charlène became engaged on June 23, 2010 after many years of relationship. The wedding followed a year later. At the end of May 2014, the court announced that the princess was pregnant. The twins Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques then saw the light of day on December 10, 2014 in Monaco.
