Two men and two women have died in a traffic accident registered this Saturday morning in the Lugo municipality of Xove, in which the driver of the car has also been injured.
As reported by the Civil Guard, the incident occurred at 9:40 a.m. this Saturday at kilometer 1,100 of the LUP-2604 highway, where a car in which five people were traveling, all of them young, suffered an exit from track and ended up falling down a ravine.
The fatalities are two men and two women, all of them residents of Ribadeo (Lugo) and among whom there are minors, according to sources from the emergency device consulted by Europa Press.
The driver was the only survivor of the accident, although he is in serious condition. The emergency services have confirmed that, once stabilized, he has been evacuated to the Lucus Augusti hospital in the provincial capital by the professionals of Sanitary Emergencies 061.
The vehicle left the road in a sharp curve and ended up falling from a height of between three and four meters to end up inside a private estate, as confirmed to Europa Press by the councilor of Xove, Demetrio Salgueiro.
