Exam. Baccalaureate 2022: The success rate after resit is 91.1%, down from 2021

All results are now available! After the remedial session (i.e.,.), 664,300 candidates were approved for the 2022 Baccalaureate. The Ministry of National Education announced a success rate of 91.1% on Saturday. This is 2.8 points less than June 2021.

The Blanquer baccalaureate's first edition was held under almost normal circumstances after two sessions were interrupted by the health crisis. It had a general success rate of 96.1% (-11.5 points compared with 2021), a passrate for the technological baccalaureate at 90.6% (-33.5 points) and an overall pass rate of 82.3% for the professional baccalaureate at 82.3% (-4.25 points). A generation's high school graduates is 79.2%.

The 2019 reform of the Baccalaureate marks has resulted in 40% based on continuous assessment and 60% based on final tests.

With 93.8% success rate in the diploma, and 95.7% respectively in the years 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the bac has set new records. However, the success rate for the 2022 Baccalaureate is higher than the 2019 (88.1%), 2018 (81.3%) or 2017 (87.9%).

More than half (58.8%), of the candidates who attended the session just finished graduated with honors. This was according to the direction of evaluation of prospective and performance (Depp), of Education national. This is a drop of 5.4 points from June 2021.

Depp highlights that the Rennes Academy's baccalaureate success rate is among the highest of all three paths. With success rates exceeding 85%, Rennes, Poitiers and Poitiers are the top academies in the professional path.

Guadeloupe, Guyana and Guyana had a success rate of 9.5 and 12.8 respectively. Except for Mayotte, success rates in the technological route range from 80.5% up to 95.1%, with Brittany Martinique, Guadeloupe and Guadeloupe being the most notable. The National Education also notes that most academies achieve similar success rates for the general route.
