First TV show since baby break: Helene Fischer celebrates a comeback with the ex

Helene Fischer recently spoke up about the Ukraine war, but otherwise the singer has not only held back publicly since the birth of her daughter. Now her TV comeback is coming up - and she's doing it on Florian Silbereisen's show of all places.

Pop singer Helene Fischer will have her first big TV appearance after the baby break, of all things, on a show by her ex-boyfriend Florian Silbereisen. The 37-year-old is expected on July 23 in the live broadcast "Das Große Schlagercomeback" in the first, as a spokeswoman for Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR) announced.

Florian Silbereisen celebrates the "emotional and surprising comebacks of the year", described the MDR. He also presented "Helene Fischer's first major TV appearance in 2022". After a big tour in 2018, Fischer retired - first for a creative break, then because of the corona pandemic. In autumn 2021, the first rumors about the singer's pregnancy made the rounds, and in spring 2022 her first child, a girl, was born. For the time being, only one live performance by Fischer is planned in Germany this year. On August 20, the singer will be on stage at the Munich Exhibition Center in front of around 150,000 fans. She has announced a tour for 2023.

The broadcaster also announces in its message: "ESC legend Nicole returns to the big television stage. After years of TV break, there is a reunion with Nena." The now 62-year-old star of the Neue Deutsche Welle has repeatedly attracted attention since the beginning of the pandemic with questionable statements on the subject of corona and in the environment of well-known conspiracy ideologists and lateral thinkers. In September 2021 she canceled her tour after individual concerts had already been canceled in advance. So now she is returning to the general public.

According to the announcement, the audience of Silbereisen's show can also look forward to Maite Kelly, Vicky Leandros, Ross Antony and other stars. According to the broadcaster, the Eurovision broadcast by ARD and ORF will be broadcast live from the glass hall at Messe Leipzig.
