"Today the Federal President took over the honorary sponsorship of our triplets," wrote the rapper in an Instagram story. He showed one of the three documents signed by Steinmeier in a photo.
"We are very happy about the honorary sponsorship, because the Federal President represents a completely different level, with which you hardly have any interfaces as a citizen," explained his wife Anna-Maria Ferchichi to the RTL broadcaster in a statement. "It fills us with pride that our triplets each have a certificate from the head of state. It has a high emotional value for us."
The family received "no extra treatment", as the 40-year-old emphasizes in an Instagram story. Because the Federal President takes on the honorary sponsorship for the seventh child in a family if the parents request this. "The honorary sponsorship is primarily of a symbolic nature. It cannot be compared with the sponsorship for a baptism," says the Federal President's official website.
