France/Switzerland. Geneva is also home to the European Archeology Days

Archeologists, like the European Heritage Days make it possible for the public to find rare heritage sites that are not open to the general public.

History buffs can also discover the backstage archaeological research in Geneva, including the archeological site of Saint-Pierre Cathedral, the Saint-Gervais, and Madeleine temples.

The Martin Bodmer Foundation offers workshops and visits for children interested in research. These European Days were coordinated in Switzerland by Archeology Switzerland, and in Geneva, by the cantonal archeological service. They brought together more than 1,400 initiatives across Europe in 2021.
