The Gard firefighters responded to a major plant fire at the RD90 edge in Beaucaire on July 6th, around 11:30 a.m.
The rescue operation made it possible to save a nearby house and the lot of a shopping mall's parking lot when the first detachment arrived. 25 combat and command devices were engaged. Two urban fire engines and the Sdis 30 helicopter water bomber, which performed around twenty drops, also supported them. 85 firefighters were activated on the ground.
Three acres of brush were used as the fire place.
