While winter is fast approaching and Europe freezes to save energy, Sylvie Meis simply flees to warmer climes. She is currently sending greetings from beautiful Miami every day - and taking her fans to the pool with her.
We assume that Sylvie Meis also has a TV in Miami and watched the Dutch national team's entry into the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar from here. In her current Instagram posts, the ex-wife of ex-kicker Rafael van der Vaart ignores the World Cup. Instead, it's all about summer, sunshine and the regular cooling down with daytime temperatures currently hovering around 27 degrees in Florida.
In one of her most recent messages to her around 1.4 million followers on the social network, she demonstrates what it looks like when Meis sets out to splash around. "Dressing for a day at the pool," Meis noted in a short clip with which she wished her fans a nice weekend. You can see in time-lapse how she first presents herself in a bikini, then slips on a short dress and finally grabs sunglasses, slippers and handbags.
Meis sent her first post from Miami a week ago. Also with a bikini picture, she wished a happy first Advent from afar. Since then she has followed up with various snapshots or clips from the beach or pool.
But she also diligently documents her evening activities. Among other things, she shows herself in a black evening dress under the heading "Miami Nights".
However, Meis did not travel to Miami just for fun. So she revealed to the "Bild" newspaper a week ago that it's also about being with her husband Niclas Castello. "The 'Miami Art Basel' is of course an absolute highlight every year, and I am happy to be able to accompany my husband here in his work," says Meis, who married the artist two years ago.
While winter has gradually got its grip on Europe, which is shivering with the radiators turned down, Meis has simply fled to the sun. However, she should be back by Christmas at the latest. Finally, at the beginning of November, she explained in an RTL interview how the holidays are going for her. Accordingly, there are not only visits to parents and in-laws, but also with the ex van der Vaart, with whom she has their son Dámian, is celebrated. Just patchwork. And maybe, just maybe, everyone will even celebrate winning the world championship together.
