Patrols in Annecy's streets were again on the mark during the night of Wednesday 1st through Thursday 2nd June. The police were alerted to a person running from a parked car shortly after 9:30 PM, boulevard Du Fier.

The vehicle's owner was caught and the man was arrested. Soon, the reason he tried to run at the sight the police vehicle would be revealed. Annecy's 44-year-old man was subject to a search form for a two-month sentence in prison stemming out of a drug conviction. The Annecy court pronounced the sentence in November 2019. Man was then placed in judicial custody pending the magistrate's ruling.

Quai des Clarisses saw an individual get rid of a sachet containing herbal cannabis just after midnight. The Thiou bag was searched and the man with the canister of cocaine in his hand was taken into police custody. The 40-year old man from Chignin, Savoie was arrested for possession and use narcotics.

The police stopped a man from urinating in a flower bed at the multimodal interchange near the station around 1:10 AM. The 60-year old man, who was drunk and had a tear gas canister in him, was taken back to the station and put in a tank. He was due to be heard on Thursday.
