After serving as the president and the rapporteur of the International Forum of Mayors in Geneva on April 4th, after participating in the weeks of sustainable developments in collaboration with the Ministry of Ecological Transition the City of Evian has taken a new direction. The eight challenges that were based on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and their translation into France's 2030 Agenda, have convinced the Ministry of Ecological Transition to nominate Mayor Josiane to join the French delegation at the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development in New York. It began on Tuesday 5th July and will finish on Friday 15th July.
This forum has been held every year since 2015. It aims to evaluate efforts to reach the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals program. It also aims to share best practices and lessons learned at the international level. This forum will feature the testimony of the city councilor from the spa town.
