Here's a Pride playlist to make your next workout extra gay.

Recent news has been difficult, especially for those who care about bodily autonomy. Trans youth have been under attack in the U.S. Pride events and drag shows have been the target of violence and threats. The Supreme Court recently overturned Roe V. Wade. Being queer, I am feeling quite scared right now. Yet, I have found that the best way to cope with times like this is to allow myself to feel my fear and despair, and to also look for joy and rest to give me the energy and motivation to continue advocating for a safer, better, and healthier world.

As Pride weekend approaches, I am trying to bring out queer joy, community and freedom of expression. To help anyone in need of a good workout or a solo dance party in the shower, I have put together a playlist featuring some amazing songs by trans and queer artists. Everyone deserves to feel at home in their bodies. Movement can help us do this. This playlist was a good place to start.
