Hesse: 18-year-old stabbed by unknown persons

Frankfurt (dpa/lhe) - Two unidentified young men stabbed and seriously injured an 18-year-old in Frankfurt on Sunday night. The 18-year-old was standing at a tram stop with a companion when the two strangers approached them. According to the police, an argument broke out, as a result of which the victim suffered the stab wounds. A search for the two young men had so far been unsuccessful, it said on Sunday. Police are now investigating attempted murder. The 18-year-old was taken to a hospital.
