Hesse: 20-year-old attacked and robbed

Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) - A 20-year-old was attacked and robbed by several perpetrators in Frankfurt early on Sunday morning. According to the police, about seven teenagers or young men are said to have followed the victim. When they caught up with the man, they hit him on the back of the head and stole his ID, bank cards and several hundred euros in cash. While he was being robbed, police said others from the group continued to punch and kick the 20-year-old who was lying on the ground. The perpetrators then fled. According to the investigators, the young man suffered various bruises during the attack at around 4.30 a.m. and was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
