Hofheim (dpa/lhe) - The Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) has set up an online portal for the reimbursement of certain annual tickets for the period of the 9-euro ticket. Holders of annual tickets without a subscription can have the difference between the usual price and the nine euros in June, July and August reimbursed, as the transport association announced on Wednesday. Around 95,000 customers are affected. The portal is aimed at everyone who bought their annual pass directly and without a subscription and who had a chip card.
According to the information, annual tickets with subscriptions, such as job, semester or student tickets, do not have to be entered in the portal. In these cases, the billing runs automatically via the monthly or annual debit, it said. Owners of annual tickets without a paper subscription can therefore contact their respective transport company directly.
Applications are therefore possible online until September 15th. Refunds by bank transfer can be expected between the end of September and the end of November, in individual cases by the end of the year.
