Hesse: 91 percent of Hessian schools have a fast network

Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - More than 1,800 Hessian schools now have a fast Internet connection. As of the end of last year, 91 percent of the approximately 2,000 schools in the country were gigabit-capable, said Digital Minister Kristina Sinemus (CDU) on Wednesday in Wiesbaden. There are only a few stragglers at the schools, as some connections have been delayed due to a lack of staff or construction capacities and the corona pandemic.
