Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - A transverse truck blocked the Autobahn from Frankfurt to Wiesbaden (A66) on Thursday morning. According to the police in Frankfurt, there was a kilometer-long traffic jam in the morning rush hour. The police diverted traffic widely. Drivers who were stuck in traffic had to gradually reverse out of the A66.

According to initial findings, a semi-trailer truck overturned between Frankfurt-Zeilsheim and Kelkheim (Main-Taunus-Kreis) and lay across all lanes. How this came about was initially unclear. Nobody got hurt. It took hours to salvage the truck. "It will take a while," said a police spokesman.
