Münster (dpa / lhe) - Around two weeks after the fatal train accident near Münster in southern Hesse, the repair work on the line is progressing. According to the current planning, the tracks should be able to be used again from mid-June, the railway in Frankfurt announced on Wednesday. Work is currently underway on the overhead line. Most of the rails, ballast and sleepers are already in place. In the accident on May 19, a freight train was stopped on the route due to a defective overhead line, and another freight train drove up. A train driver was killed. According to Bahn, the damage to the infrastructure was immense.
