Kassel (dpa/lhe) - The police arrested a 23-year-old in Kassel who is said to have traded in stolen bicycles. When the suspected fence was arrested on Thursday, the officers seized a total of 33 bikes with a total value of at least 10,000 euros, the police said on Friday.
The police officers tracked down the suspect after a 54-year-old man reported the theft of his 3,000-euro pedelec. During the search, they came across the suspected loot in the basement of a vacant house. The 23-year-old is said to have three initially unknown accomplices.
