Hesse: Bus driver is on trial after a fatal accident

Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - After a serious traffic accident with one dead and several injured, a bus driver has to answer to the Frankfurt district court from this Monday (9:00 a.m.). The indictment charges the 40-year-old with negligent homicide and multiple negligent bodily harm. In September 2019, he is said to have run a red traffic light in Frankfurt-Rödelheim. When turning, the bus collided with a car, whose passenger died shortly afterwards from her serious injuries. Several bus passengers were injured in the impact. The court wants to complete the process in one hearing day.
