Hesse: Cannabis plantation discovered: Two suspects

Stadtallendorf (dpa/lhe) - The police discovered a cannabis plantation with around 1000 plants when they searched a residential building in Stadtallendorf (Marburg-Biedenkopf district). Two men aged 33 and 56 were arrested last weekend, the police and public prosecutor's office in Marburg announced on Wednesday. Both men are therefore in custody. According to the police, the indoor plantation, including the basement and attic, stretched over three floors. The investigators also found tools needed for breeding, which are probably worth tens of thousands of euros. The authorities have been investigating the operators of the cannabis plantation since June of this year.
