Brechen (dpa/lhe) - A 32-year-old mother died in Brechen-Werschau (Limburg-Weilburg district) when her family's car crashed into a house wall. Her children aged twelve, eight and one and the 34-year-old father were seriously injured, the police said.
According to previous investigations, the vehicle left the road in a slight right-hand bend on Friday afternoon and then drove head-on into the wall. The mother in the passenger seat was trapped in the badly damaged car and died at the scene of the accident. The man and two of the children were taken to the University Hospital in Gießen by rescue helicopter. The youngest was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
To clarify the cause of the accident, the public prosecutor turned on an expert. The vehicle involved in the accident was secured.
