Offenbach (dpa/lhe) - People in Hesse can expect changeable autumn weather in the coming days. Thursday will begin with variable to heavily overcast with local showers. From noon onwards, the rainfall should subside, as the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach announced on Thursday. In addition, loosening clouds and mostly dry conditions from the afternoon are to be expected. The maximum values are between 8 and 12 degrees, in the mountains around 6 degrees. Temperatures will drop to between 4 and 1 degree on Friday night. In some areas, frost is to be expected near the ground.
According to the DWD, it will initially be very cloudy on Friday with the rain receding. In the afternoon there will be loosening up with only a few showers. The maximum temperatures are between 7 and 9 degrees, at higher altitudes 4 to 7 degrees. On Saturday, the meteorologists are again expecting a start to the day with lots of clouds and a few raindrops. In the course of the day there should be some brightening and it should remain free of precipitation. The maximum values are 6 to 9 degrees.
