Offenbach (dpa/lhe) - People in Hesse can expect autumnal weather with clouds, rain and some fog for the first weekend in November. On Friday, with maximum values between 11 and 14 degrees, it is mostly cloudy and rainy, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach in the morning. There may also be brief thunderstorms in the southern half of the country. In the night to Saturday it will remain rather rainy in the south, in the northern half the showers will subside. There may be fog in places.
For Saturday, the DWD meteorologists initially expect the rain to subside further. During the day it will be mostly dry and cloudy. According to the DWD forecast, Sunday also begins without precipitation. Later, dense clouds will gather from the west, bringing showers. The rain is expected to spread across the country by evening. The temperatures reach a maximum of 13 degrees on both days.
