Hesse: Collision due to weakness on B452

Wehretal (dpa/lhe) - A 63-year-old man suffered a dizzy spell while driving in Wehretal and collided head-on with another car. The accident happened on Saturday morning when the man was driving with his 79-year-old wife as a passenger on federal highway 452 in the Reichensachsen district (Werra-Meißner-Kreis) in the direction of Eschwege, the police said on Sunday. According to initial investigations, the man came to the left into the oncoming lane due to the dizzy spell. The driver himself, his wife and the 82-year-old driver of the other car were injured and taken to the hospital. Both cars were towed away with a total loss of 10,000 euros.
