Hesse: Dane Jacobsen extends contract with SV Wehen Wiesbaden

Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - The Danish midfielder Bjarke Jacobsen has prematurely extended his contract with the third division soccer team SV Wehen Wiesbaden by two years until June 30, 2025. "He brings us stability and presence in midfield and also has the ability to control the game while in possession, which is very important for our game," Wehens sporting director Paul Fernie said in a statement on Monday. The 29-year-old Jacobsen came to Wiesbaden from the Danish first division club AC Horens in 2021 and has played 46 competitive games for the current fourth-placed team.
