Hesse: Driver seriously injured after collision with car

Hünfelden (dpa / lhe) - After a collision with another car, a driver in Hünfelden (Limburg-Weilburg district) was seriously injured. A 19-year-old driver left the road on Tuesday for an initially unknown reason and crashed into the rear of the woman's car in front of him, the Wiesbaden police said. The 40-year-old was reportedly trapped by the force of the impact and had to be cut out of the vehicle by the rescue workers. She suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital by helicopter.
