Hesse: drunk insults passers-by and injures police officers

Oberzent (dpa/lhe) - On Thursday evening in Oberzent (Odenwald district) in front of a supermarket, a drunk insulted passers-by and injured a police officer. As the police announced on Friday, the 41-year-old behaved extremely aggressively. He slightly injured a police officer in the upper lip with a headbutt. Then the 41-year-old was overpowered and arrested. During the drive to the police station, he insulted and threatened the officers. The man spent the night in a detention cell to sober up.
