Bad Nauheim (dpa/lhe) - Rock'n'Roll and nostalgia: With a three-day program, Bad Nauheim gave fans the opportunity to celebrate their idol at the 20th "European Elvis Festival". The "King of Rock'n'Roll" Elvis Presley and the time of the 1950s and 1960s were the focus of the Wetterau town - with guided tours, films, parties, concerts, vintage car rides or music competitions.
It's no coincidence that Bad Nauheim is celebrating Elvis Presley (1935-1977) - the US musician lived in the city for a while. He was stationed as a soldier in Friedberg from October 1958 to March 1960, but lived in neighboring Bad Nauheim during this time.
