Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - A total of 252,100 students are enrolled at the universities in Hesse in the current 2022/23 winter semester. That is 10,600 fewer than in the 2021/22 winter semester (minus four percent), as the State Statistical Office in Wiesbaden announced on Tuesday based on preliminary calculations.
141,400 students are currently enrolled at a university, 100,700 are studying at a university of applied sciences. According to the statisticians, another 10,100 students are spread across theological colleges as well as art and administration colleges.
