Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - The Hessian state government wants to provide information this Monday (9 a.m.) in Wiesbaden about the investigators' measures in the fight against child abuse in the state. Interior Minister Peter Beuth and Justice Minister Roman Poseck (both CDU) will meet with specialists from the internal police unit "BAO Focus" at the State Criminal Police Office.

Since October 2020, the "BAO Focus" (special organizational structure for cross-case organizational structure against child pornography and sexual abuse of children) has been bundling and intensifying police measures against child abuse and child pornography in Hesse. Nationwide, more than 300 investigators work in the unit.
