Hesse: granary burns: at least 100,000 euros in damage

Wehretal (dpa/lhe) - The fire in a granary in northern Hesse caused damage of at least 100,000 euros. No one was injured, the police in Eschwege said on Tuesday. According to the first investigations, the fire on Monday evening was caused by a technical defect in an engine. About 100 tons of grain were stored in the storage tower of a company in Wehretal-Hoheneiche. Over 100 firefighters were involved in the fire.
