Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - In the coming year, the Hessentag state festival is to be celebrated again after the forced break caused by corona. The official Hessentag flag was presented to the southern Hessian host municipality of Pfungstadt on Friday. "Planning is in full swing here," said Mayor Patrick Koch (SPD), referring to the 60th edition of this event from June 2nd to 11th, 2023.
Traditionally, the flag is actually handed over to the new organizer at the concluding pageant of the Hessentag. Due to the cancellation of this year's event in Haiger due to the pandemic, the handover took place in the State Chancellery in Wiesbaden.
