Offenbach (dpa/lhe) - People in Hesse can expect calm October weather with mild temperatures in the next few days. Tuesday starts with fog with visibility sometimes below 150 meters, as reported by the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach. The day then turned out to be mostly clear and dry with maximum temperatures of up to 18 degrees. During the night on Wednesday, there will be local fog again with visibility below 150 meters and the temperatures will drop to up to five degrees. At higher altitudes, the wind will pick up, sometimes with strong to stormy gusts of between 50 and 65 kilometers per hour.
After the fog has cleared, Wednesday will be clear and dry with temperatures up to 21 degrees. At high altitudes, isolated strong or stormy gusts of between 50 and 65 kilometers per hour are possible again. During the night on Thursday, clouds will gather and it will rain in places with low temperatures of up to eight degrees. On Thursday the clouds will clear again during the day and the temperatures will rise to up to 20 degrees.
