Hesse: HSG Wetzlar plans long-term with goalkeeper Suljakovic

Wetzlar (dpa/lhe) - Handball Bundesliga team HSG Wetzlar has extended the contract with goalkeeper Anadin Suljakovic until June 2026. The club announced this on Thursday. The 1.96 meter tall Bosnian, who also has Qatari citizenship, came from the Qatari club Al-Ahli HC in 2019.

Together with the also 23-year-old German national goalkeeper Till Klimpke, who recently extended his contract with HSG until 2025, Suljakovic forms the youngest team of goalkeepers in the first division. "After two years of development in the U23s and in Aue and one season in the Bundesliga, Anadin has become an important part of our team," said Wetzlar's new sporting director Jasmin Camdzic.
