Frankfurt (dpa/lhe) - A landslide near Steinau on the road in the Main-Kinzig district slowed down long-distance rail traffic on the Fulda - Hanau route on Tuesday. Only one track is still available, Deutsche Bahn announced. There are cancellations and delays. According to Bahn, the trains between Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe and Frankfurt/Airport are canceled in both directions on the ICE connection Berlin - Frankfurt.

The ICE trains on the Wiesbaden - Dresden line do not run in either direction between Wiesbaden and Fulda. The train said there were also disabilities on the ICE line between Hamburg and Stuttgart. According to the announcement, the impairments are expected to last until Tuesday evening.
