Offenbach (dpa/lhe) - People in Hesse can expect lots of clouds and some rain in the coming days. Wednesday starts foggy and cloudy and there is fog until midday with visibility sometimes below 150 meters, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach in the morning. During the course of the day, the weather will be cloudy and temperatures will rise up to 14 degrees before thicker clouds are expected in the evening. In the night to Thursday it will remain cloudy and rain will move in. The lows drop to as little as 5 degrees and up to 3 degrees at the summits.
Thursday will also be mostly cloudy. At times it rains lightly with daily highs of up to 12 degrees. Also in the night to Friday there is only local loosening and the temperatures drop to as little as 1 degree and in the mountains to as little as 0 degrees. Occasional rain and some sleet at high altitudes is also possible.
