Offenbach/Frankfurt (dpa/lhe) - Two men beat up a 30-year-old on an S-Bahn because he is said to have made them aware of the existing mask requirement. A 20-year-old man was also attacked by the two strangers. He wanted to help the 30-year-old, as the federal police in Frankfurt announced on Monday.
The 30-year-old suffered lacerations on his face during the attack on Sunday night on the route between Frankfurt and Offenbach. The 20-year-old came to a clinic with suspected craniocerebral trauma. There was initially no trace of the two unknown thugs. When the S-Bahn pulled into the Offenbach Leather Museum station, they fled.
